Secure payment in international trade, in plain language.
A letter of credit (LC) is a payment method in which a bank undertakes to pay the seller when specified documents are presented. The seller is assured of payment, and the buyer that the goods have been shipped in line with the contract.
With a usance letter of credit, payment is made not at shipment but at the end of the term agreed by the parties. The material reaches your business and goes into production, while payment falls due at a later date.
İDİNOKS runs the commercial side of the transaction: it manages coordination with the manufacturer or supplier, quotation and shipment processes. The LC structure is set up by agreement between the banks and parties involved.

Ask a Question →What is a letter of credit (LC)?
A letter of credit is an international payment method in which a bank undertakes to pay the seller when the documents specified in the contract are presented. It provides security for both buyer and seller.
How does deferred-payment sourcing work?
After receiving your request, we evaluate the product, supplier and payment terms. On eligible transactions, a deferred LC structure is set up by agreement of the parties. The material is shipped and payment is made at the end of the agreed term.
Are 360-day terms available to every company?
No. The availability and length of terms depend on bank conditions, company eligibility, transaction structure and commercial evaluation. 360 days is the longest term achievable on eligible transactions. Applying does not mean approval.
Can I work with my existing supplier?
Yes, this may be possible. If you share details of the manufacturer or supplier you work with, we will evaluate the transaction and the LC options. If suitable, the parties agree on the purchasing and payment structure.
Which materials are eligible?
Stainless steel, aluminium and copper purchases can be assessed. Eligibility is determined by product, quantity and transaction.
What does deferred payment cost?
The cost of deferred payment varies with bank conditions, term length, transaction value and structure. We therefore do not publish a fixed rate. Terms are shared with the quotation after commercial evaluation.
Is İDİNOKS a bank?
No. İDİNOKS is an international metal trading and sourcing company, not a bank or financial institution. LC-backed deferred-payment solutions are offered as part of our trading transactions.
